What is testersundo.in?
testersundo.in is a hyperlocal discovery platform that connects Kerala-based software testers with startups, SMEs, and teams needing immediate QA capacity. It answers the question "Testers undo?" — are testers available right now?
Do I need to create an account to use the platform?
No. You can browse the feed without logging in. We only create a temporary anonymous account when you post, so your post can be linked to you for editing or deletion.
How do I contact a tester or client?
Every post includes a "Chat on WhatsApp" button. Tapping it opens WhatsApp with a pre-filled message containing the context of the post. No in-app chat is required.
Is my phone number visible to everyone?
Your phone number is used only to generate the WhatsApp deep link. It is not shown publicly until someone clicks the WhatsApp button. You can post without a phone, but others will not be able to contact you.
How long do posts stay live?
Posts automatically expire after 24 hours. You can extend a post once for another 24 hours, or mark it as filled if you found a match.
Can I post full-time job openings?
No. testersundo.in is for gig work, short-term testing needs, and freelance availability. Posts containing full-time job keywords are automatically hidden.
How do ratings work?
After a gig, both tester and client can rate each other. Ratings build a reliability score and skill-specific ratings that help the community identify trusted members.
Is the platform free to use?
Yes. Core discovery is free forever. Optional paid features like post boosts may be introduced later, but they will never be required to find or post work.
Does testersundo.in handle payments?
No. All payments are handled directly between tester and client, typically via UPI. We recommend agreeing on scope and payment before starting work.
How does location filtering work?
You can filter by Kerala district and optionally by 6-digit pincode. You can also use the GPS button to detect your location automatically.
What happens if I see a spam or inappropriate post?
Tap the "Flag" button on any post. After three flags, the post is automatically hidden and queued for admin review.
Can I use testersundo.in outside Kerala?
The platform is optimized for Kerala, but it works anywhere. The district filter is limited to the 14 Kerala districts because that is where the community is focused.
How do I verify my profile?
You can verify your phone, email, LinkedIn, and GitHub from your profile. Verified badges help others trust you faster.
Is there a mobile app?
No native app is needed. testersundo.in is a Progressive Web App (PWA). You can add it to your home screen from the browser and use it offline.
How do I delete my data?
Email privacy@testersundo.in with your display name and phone number. We will process deletion within 30 days.
